Who We Are

Our story

The Anglican Church of Canada is a national family of dioceses and ministries, living out Christian faith, serving communities across the country and connected to the worldwide Anglican Communion. Dioceses lead local ministry, ecclesiastical provinces support regional collaboration and the General Synod guide national work. Our journey as Anglicans is shaped by community—woven through local, national and global relationships. In every time and place, the Spirit calls communities into greater unity, mutual encouragement and shared service.  This summer, St. Paul’s Anglican Church Innisfil, will celebrate 175 years of commitment in this community that includes many descendents, of the founding families.
